Church of Holy Redeemer- Marshall, MN
The Church of the Holy Redeemer is a historic church building designed by the preeminent French born architect Emmanuel Louis Masqueray, designer of the Cathedral of St. Paul and Basilica of St. Mary in Minneapolis. The church is designed in the neoclassical style. YHR Partners was commissioned to design a Masterplan for the church which included restoring the historic church interiors, a new gathering addition to the church building, and a new freestanding parish center. The first phase of the project involved the restoration of the church interior and construction of the church gathering addition. The gathering addition faithfully replicated the historic brick and stone materials and details. The church interior restoration involved new stone flooring, plaster restoration, decorative painting and rebuilding the sanctuary platform in a style appropriate to the building while updating its layout to be liturgically appropriate.
