St. John The Evangelist, Renovation & Expansion, Rochester, Minnesota

The downtown Rochester church, located across the street from the main doors of the Mayo Medical Center, engaged YHR to prepare a master plan to add a gathering/social space, and renovate a handsome worship space, along with other improvements to facilitate the programs of this strong and stable parish.  Plans called for the reorientation of the worship space 180°.  The project also provided a space for prayer and reflection for the many visitors to the facility throughout the week generated by the international reputation of the Mayo Clinic.  A related project doubled the size of the attached parochial school.
