A comprehensive planning process was done for Carrington Public Schools to prepare for a May 2016 bond referendum vote. This addition to the HS building replaces an early 1900’s elementary building and houses grades Pre-K through 5th grade. The bond vote overwhelming passed and the new school expansion at the high school site is under construction.The project contains a HS gymnasium with seating for 1300 and locker rooms. The elementary school addition contains classrooms for each grade plus expansion classroom space, special education rooms, media center, art room, new kitchen and commons area.
