The project involved renovation of the entire building including mechanical and electrical systems and addressing life safety issues. Key elements were the renovation of Glasrud auditorium to add state-of-the-art technology to accommodate a variety of events as well as service as a learning lab for students in theater production.

A service elevator and exit stair at the back of house as well as other back of house support areas, dressing room, green room expand the functionality. The balcony will be restored to increase seating capacity and interior restored to former grandeur. The building is also home to the English department and will include renovation of the department offices and support spaces as well as state-of-the-art classroom that allows interactive learning for English and other courses on campus as well as provide facilities that work well for workforce training events.
