YHR Partners was organized in 1983 to bring high quality architectural services to the Upper Midwest area. The firm is located in Moorhead, MN and organized as a Minnesota Corporation with three partners having ownership. The firm provides planning and architectural services in the upper Midwest with registrations in MN, ND, SD, MT and WA. Our architectural services include experience with a wide variety of building types, with a specialty in healthcare, education, historic preservation and religious structures.OUR
Leadership
Richard L. Meier, AIA
Principal/Project Manager
Rich oversees the administration, finance and operations within the office. He leads the production department coordinating drawings both in-house and with consulting engineers and serving as a project manager and a construction administrator on numerous projects. He has experience with numerous project types and various delivery methods. Rich has a good working relationship with contractors and provides value engineering for projects. Rich served on active duty in Iraq and retired from the North Dakota Army National Guard after 20 years of service. Rich joined the firm in 1993 and became a partner in 2001.
Margaret K. Follingstad, AIA, CID
Principal/Project Manager
Margaret provides leadership for predesign planning, facility programming and design for a variety of projects specializing in higher education, religious facilities, and historic preservation/renovations. Her experience as a project manager encompasses the full range of architectural services with experience in a wide variety of project types including religious, education, historical restoration / replication, corporate, government, hospitality, retail, and urban design. Margaret joined the firm in 1990, and later spent 6 years on the west coast designing high-rise mixed use, hospitality, and retail centers prior to returning in 2003. Margaret is active in numerous community organizations including the Economic Development Association, several Planning Commissions, and Main Street program. She became a partner in 2006.
Mark D. Lundberg, AIA, LEED AP
Principal/Project Manager
Mark provides leadership in K-12 educational planning and serves as a project manager on a variety of institutional, academic, and educational facilities. He has experience with religious facilities and a passion for fine detailing. He is a creative architect with excellent design skills and experience encompassing the full range of architectural services. Mark leads the firm’s efforts in Sustainable Architecture. He is certified by LEED as an accredited professional. Mark has worked to certify one of the state’s first LEED skilled nursing facilities. Mark Lundberg joined the firm in 2003 and is active in a variety of community organizations. He became a partner in 2006.
Adam D. Pangrac, AIA
Principal/Project Manager
Adam Pangrac, AIA, is the newest Partner to join the YHR Partners, Ltd. leadership team in 2021. He has been with the firm since 2011 and has 12 years of experience in the industry, working on educational, religious, medical, housing and office/retail projects.
Adam earned his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design and Master of Architecture from North Dakota State University. He currently manages numerous projects from master planning through construction administration.
Ryan D. Gran, AIA
Project Manager
Ryan provides leadership in healthcare planning and design work along with being a project manager on numerous projects making sure that the projects are delivered on time and within budget. He is an innovative designer that engages all participants as a Team to ensure that the client’s vision along with his team’s experience produce successful results. He is active in the long term care, senior housing, and primary care facilities where Improving Environment, Encouraging Community, and Promoting Wellness are key in design. Ryan has been with YHR Partners since 1996 and is a licensed architect.
