Hopperstad Stavkirche.
Moorhead, Minnesota
The original Hopperstad Stavkirche was built in 1130 AD in Vik, Norway. This replica was constructed on the site of the Heritage Hjemkomst Interpretive Center in Moorhead, which is also home to a replica Viking ship, and made possible by contributions of money and services by many persons and firms, including ours. In addition to its role as an interpretive exhibit, this replica serves as a chapel for weddings and other special events in the summer months.
