A new worship space seating 1,300+ was designed
for an established community of over 3,500 families, along with an
ample gathering area and adaptive use of an older church to serve
as a chapel for 160. The new worship space employs
antiphonal seating and a shallow mezzanine to maintain the
intimacy of the worship area. The project also included
improvements to other parish families on site for fellowship,
religious education, parochial education, youth activities, senior
activities, outreach ministries, and administration functions.
YHR Partners provided design leadership in collaboration with
Ruck/Pate Architects, a local practitioner.
