This project started as a study for an addition to an existing elementary school to provide Setting D special education services to the EBD (emotional behavioral disorders) and ASD (autism spectrum disorder) students of Fargo Public Schools. The project includes a gym and cafeteria space shared with Lewis and Clark Elementary School and a Sensory Gym to provide therapy services to the Setting D students and outside clients. The facility has some elements of behavioral health facilities in regards to both student and staff safety and security.
